IP-Only is a full-service telecom operator with its own number series, and its own public interconnect with other telecom operators directly in our IP network. IP-Only’s telephony services are based entirely on modern IP technology so there is no need to make compromises with older telecom technologies. By having only one technical infrastructure and organization for telephony and Internet services, IP-Only can keep both subscription and traffic costs low. Telephony is delivered via the same interface as IP-Only’s Internet connection, without having to “compete” with Internet traffic. With our telephony services, you no longer need expensive ISDN or PRI connections, or so called IP gateways.
IP-Only’s telephony services are based on the same powerful infrastructure as IP-Only’s other services. In contrast to many other operators, whose core networks are built on an inherited architecture with physical limits when it comes to traffic flows, IP-Only’s core network is built on a pure 10Gbit/s Ethernet. The SIP-Port as a connection form for telephony allows for an unlimited number of calls, and lets you to connect geographically distant offices to one central telephony switchboard via IP, which results in dramatic cost reductions. The SIP-Port may also be delivered with a PRI gateway in order to work with older switchboards.
The SIP-Port can be connected via the same interface as IP-Only’s Internet connection – either Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet. A unique advantage of both IP-Only’s SIP-Port and the Internet connection is that additional capacity is always immediately available whenever you need it. For example, if you lease a 100 Mbit/s connection delivered over Gigabit Ethernet-interface (GbE), you are always able to immediately upgrade the entire port size up to 1 Gbit/s for an adjustable fee. This may be valuable for call centers and other companies with unpredictable traffic peaks, or where it is not ideal to have a limit for the number of simultaneous calls.
With IP-Only’s SIP-Port, customers can connect local foreign numbers to Swedish numbers which greatly simplifies communication with foreign customers and business partners. Incoming calls may therefore be made at the local rate for each country, after which the call terminates at the company switchboard, without a minute fee charged to IP-Only’s customer.
After the service is installed you gain free access to a web based tool where new numbers where you can easily select and order new numbers, view call statistics, and quickly order number porting.
IP-Only offers national number subscriptions, or number porting of existing number subscriptions to IP-Only’s network. We can also offer geographically independent numbers with prefixes such as 010, 075, or 020 – or toll-free numbers.
The SIP-Port can be advantageously used with IP-Only’s other services for effective, full-service solutions. These services include our Internet connection or our collocation service, which provides a secure environment for your telephony system, your servers, or your communication equipment. With SIP-Port Company, you can choose to connect geographically distant offices across the entire country to a centrally placed company switchboard using IP-Only’s powerful Ethernet service.
IP-Only’s IP network also uses the Internet architecture for effective routing of voice traffic. Calls can be routed based on domain name rather than IP-addresses/number series, which means that the DNS architecture is used as a load balancer by the centrally placed telephony servers. When the machinery is relieved from performance-draining load control, processor power is free for call management.
Every part of IP-Only’s network is monitored 24-7 by IP-Only’s NOC (Network Operations Center). IP-Only is known for its high level of personal service. IP-Only offers two different support levels. The difference between the two levels is primarily that those with Priority support are guaranteed greater accessibility, priority in the error resolution process, and access to 24-7 support from IP-Only’s NOC. Those with Standard support have access to support during normal office hours. IP-Only can also upgrade support from Standard to Prio for brief periods.
